Jacques Cousteau called The Sea of Cortez “The World’s Aquarium”. If anyone should know, that would be Jacques! November-April is the sweet spot of high season in Los Cabos, with the best weather AND prime whale watching. They will be here shortly in a big way and as spectacular as ever; people come from all over the world to see what is THE biggest whale migration in the world. Last year, over 1,000 calves were born in the Baja, and that’s when the action really starts! No need to go on a whale excursion when they’re 50 yards off the villa all day long, just like the picture below, but excursions are available 5 minutes away!
And there’s plenty else to do: A personally arranged ATV tour or horseback ride from the villa. Or incredible golf, and boating or fishing charters next door at Puerto Los Cabos literally 5 minutes away, personally arranged by our in-villa concierge. Pretty nice when gourmet world class cuisine is part of the deal, plus an in-villa spa with equally world class masseuse Tina, and airport transfers. “Doug, Juan Jose is incredible. We stayed at Las Ventanas last year and the cuisine is absolutely better here”. I said that’s very nice of you to say that, but Las Ventanas is THE cuisine gold standard in Los Cabos. He responded, “I’m not kidding; its better here”. Humbly, quite the compliment from a super star athlete foodie!
