Jacques Cousteau called The Sea of Cortez “The World’s Aquarium”. If anyone should know, that would be Jacques!  December-April is the sweet spot of high season in Los Cabos, with the best weather AND prime whale watching. They will be here shortly in a big way and as spectacular as ever; people come from all over the world to see what is THE biggest whale migration in the world.  No need to go on a whale excursion (although theyâre great) when they’re 50 yards off the villa all day long, just like the picture below, but excursions are available 5 minutes away!  Check this AMAZING video of the Sea of Cortez, including the whales, marlin, yellowtail, and amazing underwater video from good friend Ryan Lawler:

And there’s plenty else to do: A personally arranged ATV tour or horseback ride from the villa. Or incredible golf, and boating or fishing charters next door at Puerto Los Cabos literally 5 minutes away.  Pretty nice when gourmet world class cuisine is part of the deal, plus an in-villa spa with equally world class masseuse Tina, and airport transfers.  It is a whale of a tale, but 100% true.  Just check the 140+reviews at the link below.

Review of the Month
Hi Doug,
Our stay at CLL was incredible. Â I was thrilled to have experienced the villa firsthand.Â
The property is even better than the photos! I am really impressed at how well it is maintained as it is so much work to keep up with a beachfront property. The white walls, every detail – the embroidered robes, linens, towels, and bedding are all fresh and in excellent condition.
We of course loved the views and the beach there – so wide and a long stretch to walk. Loved the privacy.  Excellent large pool and the kids had a lot of fun on the slide. Everything is so well done. The set-up of bedrooms is family friendly with the 4 bedrooms right next to each other, and the Master below offers great privacy. We loved the artwork throughout the villa as well.
And the staff: Raquel and Rosa were wonderful housekeepers. Gonzalo and Benito were always smiling and friendly, and set up beach chairs with umbrellas, and a cooler with drinks every morning. Lalo, the chef, was outstanding and we really enjoyed talking to him.
George had a deep tissue massage with Tina and said it was amazing.  Gaspar makes a mean margarita so. The staff is attentive and friendly and as you and I know, the staff can tremendously elevate the guest experience!  Lastly, I think it is helpful that guests have the option to pay groceries via credit card as many owners accept just cash at the house or request a wire ahead of time.
